Why does my child I need an annual orthotic review?
There's one certainly in life: kids' feet grow! This is why we should review your child's feet and devices at least once a year to check for fit, functionality, and wear and tear.
In addition, orthoses don't have an unlimited lifespan. As time passes, the materials used to make the devices will naturally deteriorate.
Even if the devices feel perfectly fine, our podiatrists may find something you or or your child are unaware of.
These are the things that we check during annual orthotic review:

* If booking online, please choose a 20-minute standard consultation for a general orthotic review.
**But if your child has any foot/orthotic problems - OR - if you would like us to address multiple issues (i.e. orthotic review + general treatment), please book an extended 40-minute appointment to allow adequate time.
